Weird ED II application mishap?

Okay, yesterday, I used the 'Where Am I In The Process' feature. It is true that CMU takes the highest two SAT subject test scores, right? My posted Math level II SAT subject score had always been a 710, but yesterday I logged on and saw they changed it to an older score of 620. I called admissions, and they changed it. They confirmed they did receive a 710 score. However, I am a little confused why somebody in admissions would change it especially when my app status life reads like this:

Blah, blah, blah

Am I still okay?

Hmm that seems weird. I had a similar mishap with mine. My math 1 score was a 720 but then I took math 2 and got a 710 so I sent it to them. They didn’t change it so I called the office and asked why and they said that they just took the higher score. Honestly I think 710 math 2 is better than 720 math 1. I just accepted it, but like 2 weeks later they changed it to math 2. :p

What are you applying to by the way? Mind sharing stats?

I applied for early decision II and got accepted into ECE already a few days before Christmas. They must have mixed up the dates because I was not supposed to find out until around 01/15.

My stats were-

UW gpa: 3.92
Rank: I couldn’t use this to my advantage since our school doesn’t rank until 2nd semester, but last time it was like 4/225
ACT Comp- 31, Math- 31, Verbal- 35, Science- 28, Reading- 33
AP Calculus (1, I regret reporting this on my app) Will only have taken 4 AP courses since my school has crap budgeting.
Math level II-710
Chem-600

Well, I had called, and they sorted it out. The admissions score report only pertains to your transcript, but I was a little annoyed since they lost my transcript with all my honors math and science courses that counted for high school credit in 8th and 9th grade after I had my high school correct it. I think they do definitely prefer Math level II by far.

The same thing just happened to me. I emailed them about it since it’s a bit late to call.

A lot of weird things has happened for me in admissions too. Do not hesitate to call if you see something really whack on your application status. They are some of the nicest people in the world over the phone (for the most part).
