<p>I went to the UCLA Welcome Day on the 6th -- who else has been to one of the Welcome Days? What did you think?</p>

<p>im going on monday (4/11)... what went on</p>
<p>Had a couple info sessions, then sat down with a current student and had a kind of Q&A session. Then we ate in one of the dining halls and had a quick campus tour, then there was a separate tour of the Res. Halls/Plazas. I actually really liked it -- gave a really good overall feel to the school. I would like to take a longer, more in-depth tour later on though.</p>

<p>isn't there some kind of schoolwide presentation on sunday the 10th?
i have info from the materials science and eng dept for the time of their presentation, but not the time of the schoolwide one... does anyone know when it starts? i think i lost the paper...</p>

<p>I didn't -- I went with a group of friends from my HS. I'd say around half the kids brought their parents.</p>

<p>If you RSVPed, then I think you payed $10 per person and I'm guessing that covers food because we didn't have to pay anything once we got there.</p>

<p>I thought you can only go to the engineering thing on Sun., but not both. Correct me if I'm wrong.</p>
<p>I don't see any reason why you can't go to both Engineering Welcome day (the 10th) and College Welcome Day (the 11th)...</p>
<p>I went today. It was a pretty nice campus. The tour guides were beautiful boys.</p>
<p>benedict... the engineering open house is for my twin brother who got in through engineering, not me so im just gonna go check out the campus and catch up with some of my friends that graduated in past years and currently attend ucla</p>
