<p>I believe at Rowan you are advised of SCHOOL-awarded merit scholarships at the time you receive the acceptance letter. That was how it was when my son was accepted 2 years ago. The FAFSA need-based aid does come later as stated above.</p>
<p>My son was just accepted to Rowan as a mechanical engineering major. His GPA is 94 (his high school uses the 100 point system); SAT is 1250/1600; ACT 28. His acceptance letter included his merit scholarship amount.</p>
