 I don't like any of the bands

Citan, you don't like anything :)

i'm sure he does...

...ok, maybe not suuure. :D

What movie was it last year?

In Her Shoes

are there mult movies? if i remember correctly, theres one at the exact time of the dance...and then a separate one like an hour later

so who gets to decide what movies/bands they feature

Jason- one movie. same time as the dance.

And Citan- that'd be CEC. Although I think they take whichever movies they can get. But we definitely have the most access to free and sneak preview films of all the UCs (usually one or two per week all quarter). We also have panels for some of the films, either through CEC or through Melnitz.

Like I said, our Campus Events program is probably the richest of all the UCs just based on the kind of access we have that the other schools don't.

the free sneaks at ackerman are awesome. its cool being able to see movies before they come out, for free, on campus. (i just wish they can figure out how to focus their stupid projector  )

Hahah yeah. Dude and you have to get there way early or else it sucks.

My friend and I were first in line for Jesus is Magic last year. Awesome experience.

Free Sneak Movie
11:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m., Ackerman Grand Ballroom
We can’t tell you the movie just yet, but immediately following the concert we will be showing a film before its release in theatres! Remember to line up early, because seating is limited.

Bruin Plaza Movie
Midnight – 2 a.m., Bruin Plaza
Relive the glory days of summer with our screening of a popular summer movie! As we get closer to the date, check this space for the movie.

Ah. Well, that's new. Last year it was just the one.

And yeah. They definitely haven't finalized things yet. Clearly.

CEC isn't the one that manages the projectors, it's event services. Yes, my old job people's fault haha.

Jesis is magic? is that the sarah silverman thingy? if so, i have it in my netflix queue since i missed the sneak :)

Yeah. It was good. If you like Sarah Silverman.

i'll find out soon enough...

Thrice and Common both came last year. However, the year before that, it was a Doors "tribute band" called Wild Child and if I remember correctly the concert was terrible.

maybe....third times's the charm? hopeful

Hopefully its not Tina Turner with Burt Bacharach...fingers crossed.

^haha ru kidding...
