Well, hey, I've heard that voice before. Oh that's where I heard it from...

So, I'm sitting here cramming for my Bio 1A midterm in the morning at 8 am. I'm watching the webcasts to review the concepts when I realize something. No, it has nothing to do with biology, but that this professor is the infamous Berkeley professor who threatened the student that stole his laptop.

Here's the video of his threat:
YouTube - Stolen Laptop

His laptop was never returned and he exaggerated everything. For those of you who hold deep-rooted disdain for his lecture style, let us rejoice in the loss of his laptop (despite the fact that this was 3 years ago).

Lol wow
So the guy was never caught?

and would u recommend taking forte over rine for 1a? lol

i just saw that video for the first time, and i thought he would have caught the thief by now since he said he tracked the laptop at different points on campus lol

Nope, the guy was never caught.

If I had known what I know now, I would not have taken Bio 1A this semester-- just so I can avoid Rine. Some would argue that he keeps things interesting, but I contend that he's a horrible professor and should just stick to research. And after the midterm this morning, I celebrate the theft of his laptop even more.
