<p>does wellesley give alumni interviews? if they do, do we have to request them through admin or does an alum contact us?</p>

However, I <em>think</em> I remember reading on the Wellesley site, after the fact, that the applicant does have to request the alumni interview, and that request can be made online.</p>

<p>Interviews aren't required, though they "strongly recommend" them. That said, if applicants are accepted without one (and without ever stepping foot on the campus--see post #2), then they must be informative. You can request an alumni interview online if you go on the Wellesley site, front page. If you think you interview well and think it might make a difference for you, I'd ask for one.</p>
<p>just fill out a form online and someone will e-mail you w/ a number to call (your regional rep, i think) and then they'll set up the interview. i haven't reached my rep yet, so...yeah.</p>
<p>I had an alumni interiew about a month ago and it went really well. I emailed the regional alumni director and she helped me set up the interview!! It was very laid back, and we basically just talked about my school life and my future goals. I'd definitely recommend having an interview if you have the opportunity to do so because it can only help you.</p>
<p>i just had an interview....i thought it went well but not that well...the person contacted me after i requested an interview....i just recieved an email from the lady who interviewed me and she wrote "I enjoyed meeting you yesterday. You have accomplished much at a young age and are clearly a motivated and diligent young woman. I think you have much to offer and I wish you the best of luck." so i guess it went better than i thought or the interviewers at wellesley are very personable? anyone else with similar expereince</p>
