I'm debating between two woman's colleges and Johns Hopkins.. I'm originally from NYC, and I'm interested in economics.. which school would be better for me?

I think that it all depends on how far away from home you want to go, and how you feel about life outside of the city: Barnard, Johns Hopkins and Wellesley all have excellent academics, so in my opinion you can't make a wrong choice there. Having grown up (mostly) in NYC, I decided that I wanted to leave the city. In my opinion, you should consider how far away from (or close to) home you want to be. There's also "the driving issue"- how much it will bother you to be seperated from public transportation, if you don't drive (most people I know don't). The "T" is much smaller than the subway, personally I was shocked when I saw the map. Without knowing you, and without knowing what you want to major in/ your interests/ your feelings about a women's college, that's all I can come up with to help you decide. Hope it helps.
