Hey Guys,

I'm starting my summer internship in Wells Fargo's Financial Analyst Program (for Commercial Banking) and I'm curious if anyone here has done it or has heard about it. I was wondering, what kinds of things should I review or brush up on before the first day of work. Also, what kinds of things based on your experiences do you think I'll be doing. This is my first finance internship so I'm not quite sure what to expect. Here are my "designated" responsabilities.

Responsibilities: You will become an integral part of a team and have the opportunity to assume significant responsibility that may include:

Analyze a companys financial and operational strengths and weaknesses including leverage, key risk factors, sources of repayment, cash flow, and ability to service debt.

Partner with analysts and relationship managers in structuring multi-million dollar transactions, including the underwriting and execution of syndicated bank loans

Conduct financial and industry analyses to determine the viability of client relationships

Prepare underwriting memorandums and company annual reviews

Monitor loan agreements for covenant compliance

Understand client needs and identify potential cross-sell opportunities for other Wells Fargo products and services

Thanks! Also, do you guys know how good Wells Fargo is about hiring interns as full time employees?
