Wesleyan and Pomona

So I’ve been accepted as a sophomore transfer student from NYU Paris. I’m currently deciding between Wesleyan and Pomona for Earth Sciences or Studio Art (weird mix I know). I know that both colleges are on par with each other academically and I’ve looked at the threads that were posted before.

I want to know specifically what makes the two environments of the colleges different. Besides the ‘artsy Wesleyan’ and ‘laid-back Pomona’ and the weather is there really any difference between the two? Would I be happy at either? Socially, I party occasionally, but I also wouldn’t mind staying in a doing something else. Is the 'hipsterness' of NYU comparable to Wesleyan? What are people's thoughts?
