Wesleyan Pre-Application?

<p>Hello, I am new to College Confidential, so I hope it's as helpful as everyone says it is.</p>

<p>I am currently working on college applications (or at least trying to). I'm confused and overwhelmed, to say the least-- though I know I'm not alone in feeling this way.</p>

<p>Anyway, I'm considering applying to Wesleyan, and I saw something about a pre-application. From what I understand it only requires some basic information.</p>

<p>But my question is this: is this "pre-application" something that should have been done awhile ago? I know the deadline for the application for admission (the common app) is January 1; does this deadline apply to the pre-application too? Basically I'm freaking out that I was supposed to do the pre-application a while ago, and that it's too late now.</p>

<p>No, it doesn't matter. Don't freak out. Just send in the pre-app with the rest of your stuff.</p>

<p>Oh, so it's really just like a supplement then? It doesn't need to be sent in any earlier than the common app?</p>

<p>Right, it's the only "supplement" Wesleyan has, but if you wanted, you could send it in now just so they start your file... Like I said, doesn't matter.</p>
