Wondering if anyone who was put on the waitlist has had any feedback?
I received notification on Thursday that I was accepted off the waitlist.
congrats @schroscat ! Are you going to accept the seat? Guessing Wes is not in the cards for me if I haven’t heard. Did they happen to mention how many offers they are making off the wait list?
@NYapp2018 Thank you so much! I’m waiting on my FA notification, and if it’s all good, then I will be accepting my place. I know of two other students who were given a spot.
Don’t lost hope! There are always people who are notified later on in year due to the “rippling effect”! Just make sure you show continues interest in Wes.
@schroscat Nice!! How did they notify you? What did they say on the phone call? I’m just so curious how it works…
@wwaeistl I received a phone call from my admissions counselor. I answered to him saying “hello!” with some upbeat pop music playing in the background. To be completely honest, don’t know what else he said because I was crying. But something along the lines of “You’ve been accepted off the waitlist. Your portal will be updated tomorrow.” The following day, my portal had an update with my acceptance letter and FA award.
Really cool! It must be such a relief after everything (I hope I’m correct in assuming you were crying because of the acceptance). How is your financial aid package?
The wait list situation is unnerving! Did they give you a timeline to respond? I’ve heard a lot of schools give you 48hrs…what pressure! but good pressure 
Yea - I’m curious about FinAid too.
@wwaeistl Even with the mistake, it’s actually pretty damn amazing. My mom’s income is abysmal, and my EFC is $12k. I technically should qualify for the “full ride”, but I’ll be finding that out tomorrow!

@NYapp2018 We’re given one week to respond to the acceptance, which is so much pressure to make sure everything is right within such a short timeline.
If it’s any help, Wes is the cheapest private school I have been accepted to by far. The FA office is extremely helpful and willing to help

@schroscat - no nothing. But I’m getting more excited about Tufts and Boston so think that it may just be time to withdraw from waitlist and be excited that is
my destination this Fall. Best of luck to you at Wesleyan!

I think it should be relatively soon now. From what I remember, it said we would know by the end of June. What school are you enrolled at now?
