i'm afraid i've fallen in love with you! i am but a junior, and i'm afraid my sat scores aren't up to par. well, i haven't taken them yet, but i'm afraid they won't be good enough! ughhhh what to do, what to do.

scores aren't everything
'nough said

let them know when you apply that it is your first choice. wesleyan is very popular at my school. Applying ED can help your chances

I know how you feel. I'm currently trying to get my math score up (it's in the very low end of the range for Wes) and it seems like Wesleyan doesn't like my school very much...acceptances have been few and far between in recent years. I plan on applying ED, and I've already visited the campus twice and e-mailed the admissions officer for my area with an important question, so hopefully my passionate interest in the school will outweigh whatever deficiencies I have in taking the CollegeBoard's ridiculous test.

My advice: do the best you can on the SAT and visit the school. I know I'm doing the same. :-)

don't worry too much about scores. i was just accepted with an 1880. i didn't even apply ed. i vistited a bunch of times and had an interview. just make sure you really love the school

wow! in our area we had a kid with a 2100 rejected and another with a 2180 waitlisted, one with over 2200 accepted. you must have had something else really special

you could always take the ACT. It's so much better than the SAT and actually test your knowledge, not whether you can not be tricked by CollegeBoard.

exactly! one of the reasons why i'm feeling so nervous about it is that wesleyan rejected 8 people from the class of 2008 at my school!

i visited wesleyan last week, and i'm pretty sure i'm going to apply ED. i haven't taken the sats yet; i'm taking them in may, and i'm keeping my fingers crossed. blahhh. for some reason, i'm having so much trouble in the CR section! writing and math are fine...and it's strange, because generally, english is my strongest subject.

You're just gonna have to do the best you can. Seriously, don't freak out too much. The more you try to calm yourself down, the better you tend to do. I was totally freaked out right before the PSAT, but I tried to calm myself down and promised myself that I would accept the score that I got, and I ended up as a National Merit Commended Student.

i never took the sat's. only act, sat ii, and ap's.
before you worry about your test scores, take control of your gpa first. then ec's. THEN standardized tests.
and whatever you're into, prove to them that you are passionate about it.

i did not have fantastic scores, but i loved the school and applied ED, and i got in. have an interesting essay and keep your grades up! let them know you really love them.

definitely try the ACTs too. i didn't do great on the SATs, but my grades on the ACTs were much better.
