Sorry to be another one of those people...
BTW I am applying ED1...

So, I have a 3.48 GPA (I get lots of B+'s, some A-'s, a couple yucky B-'s and B's, A's sometimes) and a 2020 on my SAT (M:680, R:670, W:670). I got a 700 on the Spanish SAT2 and a 750 on the Math I SAT2. I go to a very competitive, highly regarded private school, which perhaps changes the initial perception of my GPA.

My classes last year included 2 AP courses, both of which I got 4's on. This year, I am taking 3 AP courses.

I'm Caucasian and Jewish, but excluded both of those from my application.

Extracurriculars:
- I am the president of my school's Gay Straight Alliance
- I am the social action VP at my synagogue
- I work as a counselor teaching improv, sketch, and stand up comedy at a summer camp
- I am in the school diversity program
- I am attending a huge diversity conference that I applied to attend called SDLC
- I facilitated conversations at a diversity conference called DAIS and I attend their monthly meetings/discussions
- I volunteer for a theater company
- I painted the school mural
- Was accepted to attend a writers conference

Awards:
- 2 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards (1 silver key, 1 honorable mentions)
- Won a poetry competition in 2 different years
- Got an art award at school

I'm not as worried about my extracurriculars and recommendations as I am about my scores and grades. Though my AP and SAT2 scores are fine, my SATI score is a bit low for Wes and perhaps my grades are too. What do you think? :) Thanks!

You don’t need a 34+ on the ACT to get into Wesleyan.
If you look at their stats the average ACT score is 31-34 and the average SAT scores are 2070-2310. Your scores are a bit on the low side, including your SATII scores because top colleges don’t really like the Math I test but you have very interesting extracurriculars.
I’d say reach just cause its Wesleyan but its holistic so you never know! Good luck!

Actually, according to the 2012-13 CDS, the middle 50% of first years is 29-33 and all of your SAT section scores fall nicely in the middle 50% range. Your test scores are fine for Wes, and with all As and Bs at a tough high school, a challenging course load and good AP results thus far, neither your scores nor grades will knock you out of the running. On top of that, it sounds like you will have a very interesting application.

Pick out an ED II school as Plan B. I am concerned that you are under 2100, not stellar GPA, and no clear Hook. Sorry to be so blunt, but if you do get in rejoice, if not you will have Plan B.
