West Campus Housing

My friends and I are trying to get a 5-person suite together on West Campus. Which building is the best?

Keeton is smallest, so that’ll be the hardest to get when it fills up the fastest. Alice Cook and Becker are bigger and have better chances of getting the suite. Rose and Bethe is modest in size and fills up a bit slower than Keeton, but be sure that if you’re time slot is bad, like past 5:40 PM, it’d be difficult to get anything on West Campus.

But this year, as opposed to previous years, rising sophomores get to select their rooms first, before rising juniors and seniors. How much more time does this buy us?

Time slot will still matter for top choice. They still cap each class a certain number of spaces. The change for rising sophomores probably only ensures at the very least, you’ll get on West Campus. Hopefully someone in your 5-person group has a time slot between 4 and 5, otherwise, you’ll just have to see what’s left.
