All I know is that I’m buying a bracket that sends Air Force all the way through…haha, peace Illinois…any thoughts? and are the cadets doing anything special for this?

As long as air force gets further than Navy or Army ill be happy but being from Illinois and UofI as my backup, Illini have my bet.

And this is from a person who has about as much care for sports as the Amish have for space exploration!

Go Illinois! Go Air Force, beat SOMEONE

Im in the same situation as Snipper. If I do not get into Air Force, I am most likely going to Illinois. Im torn as who to cheer for.

come on now fellas, show a little faith here

"Go Air Force, beat SOMEONE."

No, snipper_cr. It should be "Go Air Force, beat 'em all!!"

By the way, are home basketball games mandatory to attend?

"By the way, are home basketball games mandatory to attend?"

No. But this season that hasn't been an issue, seeing as the arena has been packed for all the games (at least all the ones I've gone to).

well, they fell just short of going all the way...haha, atleast they gave Illinois a good game....I didn't realize that Jeff Bzedelik (spelling) was the coach of Air Force...he was the coach of the Denver Nuggets a short year ago.

I'm from Illinois also. My husband went there and my civilian daughter is there. However, I was rooting for AFA as I'll root for any service academy (that's not playing against Army ;)). Now I'm back on the Illini wagon.

Air Force looked great last night.

All of the guys at where i work were doing their brackets and placing bets (i dont know enough to do a full braket) but i asked before the game "Anyone have air force winning?"

Yeah... Air force had a tough match up in the first place but they did really really well and think they looked great!

Ill also catch it from my calc teacher who went to UofI. Although since Ill be going to UofI in January for the spring term... Go Illini!
