Bonjour, Mes Amis!

DocFrance checking in. Life is good. I read posts here every now and then. Glad to see my “daughter in spirit” the “UN-one” is doing a great job of keeping everyone up to date and in line–as are the other cadets.

Life is good “On the Hill.” The new semester’s begun, the men’s basketball team is 13-1 and plays tonight, and the Class of '06 has 143 days and a wake-up until graduation.

For those of you already on the Hill, and those that show up in the Class of '10, drop by and say “Good Morning, Sir!” sometime–if you can find my office. Otherwise, I’ll see you at Clune Arena, Falcon Stadium, in the halls of Fairchild, or on the running trails around the Aluminum Womb.

Note: for those of you that saw the AFA-BYU basketball game on ESPN2 this week, there was a close-up of my wife and I during a timeout. Our seats on in the front row–on the the floor. And, no, UN, I wasn’t bare-bellied with a big “C” on my chest, wearing a helmet.

Glad to have you back.....see you in Oct. 25 years went fast??

Welcome "home"!

I hope I can some day meet you. One day. :D

Great to hear you checking in Doc.

There’s a lot of people on here still who owe a great debt of gratitude to you for all the help you've provided.

Good to see you again. A post was just made about you, referencing the "Docfrance fairwell address", so to say, and it made me think about meeting you again. Hopefully get a chance to visit you and do some push ups.

Have a great semester!

Est-ce que vous parlez fran

I may make the trek to your office sometime in the near future to say hello. And maybe some pushups?

Oui, je parle fran

As I don't speak French, I guess DocFrance just told ya''ll that you will indeed enjoy his push-ups. All 92-94 of them! LOL So good to see you checking in. You have been missed! This year's kids are gleening much through your Un daughter. You taught her well o great one. Hope you've stayed safe on your bike and mountains! Virtual dog cookies sent your way too!

I'm pretty sure it's not 92 - 94 pushups, but rather that he did an exchange, or tour, in France from '92 to '94.

Indeed that is true.

J'ai visit

How about we try a language that most of the people where I live understand.........spanish.

Hey I'm in Texas, definately DON'T understand Spanish lol.

I don't understand French, but French and Spanish are romance languanges and have many similarities, and English has a lot of romance influence, so I was able to piece together the statements. I bet you would be able to do the same.

In spanish, hornetguy's tennis phrase would be:

En el ano pasado, yo visit

yep, when I read spanish its not too too hard to grasp what is being said. It helps, a lot. Especially in Houston lol.

Je suis dans le fran

That one went over my head, lol. I put it in a translator and got this:

"I am in French three has my college, but I will go has the academy for "Summer Seminar". Can be that I can make the pumps for you when I am there this and"

Still over my head, lol.

lmao....that cracks me up./

My guess is that he's asking to do his pushups for docfrance during Summer Seminar...?
