<p>Male Latino in Eugene, Oregon
High School rarely sends people to Ivies an example is this, the best school someone went to last year was UCLA, and that was my brother, but we did win the goldman sachs award this year, so it is still a competitive school.
I wouldn't need financial aid, i don't know if that affects decision..

<p>Over 200 Community Service Hours, some at Food 4 Lane ( something to help end hunger problems in Eugene), and then at Sylvan helping students with troubles learning spanish and french improve. I might get letters of rec. from them.</p>

<p>The quality of your last two posts have definitely lowered your chances 5-10%. But in all honestly you look good, being tri-lingual is very impressive! SAT/GPA are modest at best, but being from Oregon is probably a hook in itself. You're really going to want your essays to reflect significant leadership, becuase nothing there totally lights up -- though I'm sure you can make a lot out of the community service / being captain of whatever.</p>

<p>also, not only is living in oregon is a benefit to you, so is your urm status. your ec's look good and your SATs are up to par. i think you have a great chance.</p>
