Thanks for reading =]

I’d say you are match everywhere except Princeton, where you are slight reach due to lack of major academic awards.

Best of luck with your applications.

Check out Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper. Its job network is pretty amazing.

thanks for the input guys  anyone else?

low reach for wharton, match for the rest except princeton which is a reach.

thanks  anyone else?

Your missing Michigan’s Ross School of Business on your list!

thanks  would adding tepper and ross to my list be too much? o.o how many should i apply to?

I would look at Marshall at USC (the school of connections)

thanks! can someone chance me for these schools? :)

If you are a match at Stern, you are most likely a match at Marshall. To be honest I think that Wharton, Stern, Marshall, Tepper, and Ross are the best in the nation, but this is just my personal view. With your stats I would apply to all.

^ Agreed. Perhaps drop out USC if you want and it’ll look something like Wharton, Stern, Tepper, Ross

cool, thanks  anyone have input on my chances at these schoolS?

haha i got you
now first of all your 4.0 and almost perfect SAT score puts you in the running with a high chance everywhere, however B-schools are kinda different… nothing really stands out that will make admission officers go wow this kid is unique, true your academics are spectacular and the state officer was pretty impressive, however I am sure that asian kids with your stats are dimes a dozen, no offense or anything =]

Ross 3 year program, so if you apply PA, I think you have a decent chance however Ross has been a crapshoot lately… low reach
Stern match -only if you apply ED, otherwise high match/low reach stern was kinda iffy at my school this year, we usually send like 6 to stern, this and last year we got none. you’ll be fine.
Marshall - match
Tepper - I just recently learned that Tepper is a great up and coming school and I think that now is a great chance for you to get in before it becomes uber competitive lol- not sure but in my opinion high match.

these chances are my opinion so take them with a grain of salt and correlate your own research adn other information before actually making your decisions =]

Your SAT and GPA are fantastic!!! Wow…wish I had those =/

But, I’d say your ECs (this is with respect to Wharton) are a bit weak…being an FBLA state officer is great, but I would like to see higher achievements in competitions and more activities. Any art/music? CS?

Random Note: Being a state officer for Washington DECA (and former chapter officer for FBLA), my bias wishes you had more involvement with DECA, even though CA’s membership isn’t too great.

Good luck!

^ I’ve heard the whole FBLA vs. Deca thing before. Honestly, I think that FBLA (at least in my area) is on a slightly higher level then Deca, though it might be different in Washington. I wouldn’t worry too much over which one you’re involved with, as both are excellent prep for the world of business. I don’t think your ECs will hurt your app, they just don’t add a ton to it. Don’t worry though. Your GPA and SATs make up for it, and then some.
