Hey CC'ers,

I'm a student at Penn who was initially in Wharton and applied for a dual degree with the College, which I got. I intend to study Health and Societies in the College.

The workload for a dual degree seems very challenging though. The double counting is a pain and having to work with advisors in both schools is annoying, to say the least.

So, I have two questions:

1) Is there a significant advantage to pursuing the dual degree with Health and Societies? I am trying to gain experience in health care, so if I am in just Wharton, I will tack on the Health Care Management Concentration

2) Is Health and Societies viewed as a fluff major, especially by top consultancies and PE firms?

Thanks in advance.
