Wharton Transfer Chances

I’m a freshman at Cornell University. I am currently a communications major and would like to know my chances to get into Wharton as a transfer. These are my grades last semester:

Macroeconomics: A
Intro to Communications: A-
Psych:A
Writing Seminar: B+
Entrepreneurship: A
Random Intro to Cornell Class: A+

This gives me a GPA of 3.82. I’m also a member of 2 financially related clubs here at Cornell.

Next Semester ill be taking:
Calculus II
Business Management
Chem and
2 different communications classes

I also have AP credit for calculus I, Microeconomics and I took a marketing class at a community college which I got an A in.

My SAT’s are a 1370 and I’m a white boy from long island. If anyone could estimate my chances, thank you.

Did you apply to wharton before?

No ive never applied before. Oh yea and my SAT's break down 670 math 700 verbal.

Anyone have any clue what my chances are?

Any guesses?

yeah, you have a shot. Your grades at Cornell would count alot to offset your decent SATs. Maybe a better shot if you continue those grades and try for spring semester of 06. But why do you want to transfer. Doesn't Cornell have the AEM program. Why would you want to pay the dollars for Wharton when you could enroll in the AEM program.

BTW, do you like Cornell or is it boring?
