After getting rejected from Wharton RD, I want to at least look into my chances for transferring... (supposing i get an amazing gpa)
It says on the site that you need to take Econ 001 and Econ 002 to be eligible, however since I got 4's :( on my ap macro/micro exam i can get credit for these classes at Rutgers
does this count as "taking them"? i want to get out of them and i dont want to take them just for transferring...suppose i don't get in?

idk this may be a stupid question, but after today's rejection i am really looking for other options

This is unrelated, but man, that is probably the most depressing user name on the site. Seriously, cheer up; a positive attitude is worth a thousand letters of admission.

As long as Rutgers gives you credit, your APs will count as taking Econ 001, 002.

However, a score of 4 on those tests will not impress Wharton. (I don’t mean to rub salt in your wound, I am only being rational) The question is a matter of repeating them or going to the next level up and taking Micro/Macro Theory.

I did not realize that Wharton does not accept AP Credit for econ!

My school honors AP credit by “enrolling” us into special versions of the the equivalent college course. A 4 or 5 on the Calculus AB test gives us credit for Calculus I course. If Rutgers is similar then you technically will have College credit for principles of micro and principles of macro. You will need to find out if Wharton will honor this credit.
