Wharton

Hi there, I have a question about Wharton school for bachelor degree. So, problem is, that I am a programmer with small ( but profitable :D) own business and 3 years work experience. It looks more for Engineering college, however, I prefer to spend my time on entrepreneurship or economics. Does my programmer background and work experience affect on admission in a bad way? Grades, SAT scores and etc its fine, Military service in Anti Air Force in my home country.

Thanks a lot guys!

If your essay shows a passion for business, I don’t see why your programming experience would be a detriment.

Definitely won’t affect your admission in a bad way at all. All the best :)

Maybe you could talk about how running your own business is! Plus, Penn is all about interdisciplinary studies, right? I’m applying to Wharton too - good luck :)
