Wharton's LBW 2013

It’s going to be less since it keeps declining each year. Probably Wharton Sports

Good luck
@Lemonboy377

My life is more sports oriented, and I have a ton of hooks related to sports, so I figure that actually fits me more… I’ll still be there when all of you Philly acceptees are there

Is there a large difference in terms of prestige for the SanFran and the Philly ones?

Nope both are more regional oriented though. Due to the silicon valley, SF will take more visits to top tech companies and other really innovative companies. While people at Philly may get to visit more finance oriented places, as well as some really cool companies headquartered in NYC and Philly.

People from SF get flown out to Philly on the 4th week anyways ;)

Hey, guys! I got into the Philly campus, but I’m going to have to make a decision. I could do this program, or I could do Summer at Brown. Which one would you guys recommend? Obviously this one is more prestigious, but the other one is a little more based on my interests.

Thanks!

Don’t do anything for the prestige, rather do it because you like it.

If your interest is business, then this program is great for you! Otherwise, I recommend you do Summer@Brown.

HI caughtintraffic
I am just wondering if you would know the rough number of people who get back in from the waiting list from last year?
thanks

I’m interested in International Relations, so business sort of falls into that category. I’m thinking it could be fun, but I’m still not super sure. I’ll be visiting both the Brown and UPenn campuses this week, so I might get some more information from those. Still not sure, but still have some time to decide. :)

when do you need to decide for UPenn Mnemosymnal ?

second question. is it harder for international students to get into LBW?

I believe I need to decide by April 12, so I have a couple more days to stew on it.

is it harder for international students to get into LBW?

i got accepted to the san fran campus. on the thing it says that the last week we’ll be flown over to the penn campus (and that flight fee is included) but does anyone know if we return to san fran after that? or do we just have to get picked up in philly…

@hockeylaxer0830: Congrats, I got accepted to the San Francisco campus as well! Also, I believe that we have to get picked up in Philly at the end of the program. But you could probably just fly back to San Francisco yourself if you decide to do so.

@MerelyDetermined oh okay yeah it didn’t exactly say so I was confused… if I should buy a roundtrip ticket to San Fran or… I’ll probably get the round trip (cheaper) and trash the return trip

Any movement on the waitlist yet?

Did anyone not accept their admission offer? The deadline was yesterday right?

I dont think we will know until around the 5/5-10/5 …(my guess)
still need to wait…
yeh deadline was ytd

I know of one person who did not accept their offer…

Anyone get in from the waitlist yet?
