What 9th grade elective should I take?

<p>I have the choice of taking another language or another math class. I already take Spanish (Im in 8th grade by the way) and I am most likely going to test into Spanish 3. I wanted to take Chinese also, and I would start off at Chinee 1. Also, I will test into Geometry. I have the option of taking Geometry and Algebra 2 at the same time. </p>

<p>If I took both geometry and algebra 2 freshman year, I would take precalculus in 10th grade and Calculus AB in 11th grade, and Calculus BC in 12th grade.</p>

<p>Which one would be better to take? Chinese or Algebra 2?</p>

<p>I would take Alg 2 in lieu of Chinese 1 because you’ll get a leg up on about half your grade and you’re already ahead in Spanish.</p>

<p>Algebra II, because math is really important and you’re really good at Spanish by now so you don’t really need another language. You should do so so you can take calculus BC in 12th.</p>
