I was thinking Barron's but I heard that the practice tests are bad.

bump. I need to know this too. XD I've heard from previous boards that PR or Barron's is good, but not too sure between the two.

I heard that 5 steps to a Five is really good. Can anybody else second that one?

I myself am kind confused too.

Unfortunately, this isn't one of the exams that has a simple best review book. It really depends on personal taste, learning style, etc. I'd like to know too, though, so any knowledgeable people should share their knowledge.

Personally I've read Princeton review and found it's not that helpful. Like, it has a few useful explanations but other than that there were many errors in their discussion of concepts..so yeah.

I also heard that the graphs in the PR book for micro are really hard to understand...

I am wondering as well because I definitely don't want to have to read through mankiw. I can easily dominate the MC section but I can also easily screw up the entire micro FR graphs and whatnot.

What is a good website to self-teach the entire macro-econ within the next month???? (going to study like an hour a day)

There isn't such a website. There are sites that can help you, but not that can completely teach you the material. Buy a review book (judging by the state of this thread, we have yet to find a good one) and/or a textbook.

i did PR.
it was good.
but I did alot of FRs from the site.

read a text book. then use princeton review to review. that's what i'm doing hopefully it works. good luck everyone!

try looking up reffonomics as a website...it has great tutorials. I would suggest 5 steps to a 5...dont even bother with a textbook at this time

This is pretty good: http://www.mhhe.com/economics/mcconnell/student/olc/

my teacher who reads for the econ exam made us buy 5 steps to a 5
