Hi everybody, I'm an Italian student and I'm applying to Parsons and Risd.
Last night i got my SAT I results: Cr670
M520
W_600
Yesterday I thought they were pretty good, now I'm not so sure. What do you think?
Thank you very, very much...

Math is rather low

Actually math is not my preferred subject.
Do you think I could get to those colleges with these scores?

I believe that both Parsons and RISD will be much more interested in your portfolio/creative proficiency than in your SAT scores.

Your SATs are in the ballpark for Parsons; your math is a little low for RISD.

Math is easy to raise. Practice a little, memorize some rules, and retake if you like. But your primary concern must be to have an absolutely fantastic portfolio to submit, I would think.

Retake in jan if you can and know you'll improve. you really don't have to.
My friend's in the 1600's and got into Pratt EA.
You'll need a great portfolio + luck ;)

Thank you, i feel more relaxed now.
Good luck to everyone.

Hey, my score is pretty much similar to that of yours, except for math. I got a 570CR, a 590W, and a 800M. I couldn't improve my CR and W well enough, even though I prepared much. It's just so hard for someone like me who is international and had a little time for SAT's.
