Hi!I am currently doing BE Mechanical 7th semester,I really looking forward to study aerospace in US, more towards astronautics then aeronautics, but what after that? I see everywhere around the net that non US citizen will not be able to work in the aerospace due to security issues. For me it is necessary that i get a job for few years there, so i can get back the huge amount put into my education.

So do all aerospace jobs require US citizenship?can i get a job related to astronautics at all(I have a liking towards orbital mechanics and propulsion systems)?are there any other fields an aerospace engineer can be employed in?or should i just give up and take mechanical, which offers better job opportunities ?
I do realize that a mechanical engineer is also employable in aerospace industry but only in fluid and structural area which i am not fond of.I do not plan on changing my citizenship.

Thanks guys!
