on the sept. ACT i got a 31 after studying really hard past few times i've gotten 29s...

is it worth taking it again in oct? after studying and getting a 31, how much can i realistically improve anyway...

31 places me in the 50-60 percentile at cornell. i have a really hard course load and am from a great school with a 3.83 gpa out of 4. so should i just make a really nice application for ED to cornell? or should i chance a blind oct ACT test and directly send it in?

thanks for your input! i know it is a respectable score, but a only a 2 point increase is leaving me kind of nervous since this year will be the largest applicant pool....

the beauty about cornell is that they look at the OVERALL student as a whole. yes, your test score is important, but it wont automatically reject you. plus, a 31 is in the mid percentile range...youll be fine! just work on your application now. good luck!
