What AP classes to take? Need answer by tomorrow!

Hi,

I need to know some suggestions of what AP classes to take. I have to submit my schedule request by tomorrow and need help.

I plan on majoring wildlife biology. I want to take AP classes that will help me out with majoring in wildlife biology. I want to be able to take Some AP classes to get some college credit (and maybe even skip the first semester of freshman year of the whole freshman year). But I don't want to take too many because I want to still have time for soccer. I want to be able to train for soccer and become a college player. I want to train around 10-15 hours a week so I don't want to have ridiculous amounts of homework.

So how many AP classes, which ones should I take, and how easy are they?

Some AP classes that I may want to take:
AP English (11 and 12th grade)
AP History (11th and 12th grade)
AP Gov
AP Econ
AP Psych
AP Chemistry
AP Environmental Science
AP Bio
AP Calculus AB
AP Spanish

Here is what AP classes I am thinking I will take:
AP English (11 and 12)
AP History (11 and 12)
AP Spanish (11)
AP Calc (12)
AP Bio (12)
AP Environmental Science or AP Bio (12)
AP Econ or Psych (11)
AP Gov (12)

And my schedule for next year will look like:
AP English
AP History
AP Spanish
AP Econ or AP Psych
Pre-calculus
Zoology
Chemistry

Should I take economics or psych? Is this too much homework- 4 ap classes, a math class, and 2 science classes?

So how many AP classes, which ones should I take, and how easy are they?

Please answer by tomorrow!

11th Grade

AP US History
AP Environmental Science

FOUR SCIENCE CLASSES next year?!!! I talked to my guidance counselor and she said that 3 is too many.

Also I forgot to mention I can take at most 8 classes and at minimum 7.

And also, I am definitely going to take a Spanish class :)

okay…spanish it is then…but 4 science classes next year isn’t bad…only 2 of them are APs >_> and APES is a joke.

11th Grade
Precalculus
AP English Language
AP US History
AP Biology
AP Spanish
Chemistry
AP Environmental Science

12th Grade
AP Calculus AB
AP English Literature
AP Economics
AP Government
Zoology
AP Chemistry
AP Psychology

thanks truegrit! :D

APES could be a joke for you but could be hard for me…I am not extremely smart but i get mostly straight a’s and I have a 3.8 gpa.

how much homework do you get in APES?

APES may be considered a “joke” AP, but nevertheless, it is an AP course and would be beneficial towards your major. Any science related AP you should definitely take. If you explain to your counselor that you are planning to go into a science related major, she should be more lenient in allowing you to accommodate more science classes into your schedule (as long as you are still on track in regards to your required courses to graduate) I had to explain to my guidance counselor that I was considering a minor in music and therefore, take AP Music Theory and drop the required study hall. Since my grades were good, I was able to drop my study hall and take this class even though it wasn’t recommended.

i did explain i am interested in a science major. i can definitely take more than 2 classes but my counselor doesn’t recommend it. i guess it could be a lot of hw. i know that in the regular science classes you get hw every day.

i also i forgot just one more thing…should i take chem or advanced chem?

keep in mind I still need time to train for soccer :)
