What AP Self-Study Courses Should I Take?

Currently I am a freshman in high school, and I hope to be able to take a few AP courses self-study this year, as I know I will be super busy once I'm a sophomore, when my school allows freshman to take AP courses.

I plan to take AP World History, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP English, AP Calculus, and AP Latin through the school itself. What others should I look into? What tests do you think a Freshman could handle?

My current course load is:
Latin 1
Honors Intro To Engineering Design
Orchestra 1
Honors Biology
Honors Geometry
Honors Modern U.S History
Honors English 1

I should have an A in all of these classes by the end of the semester, though I am fighting hard to get out of a B in History.

If you’re struggling to maintain all A’s, then you should focus on those as you are only a freshman. However, the easier AP Exams are AP Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, and AP Psychology. These exams may prepare you for the harder exams as you will get used to taking long tests. (Colleges usually give less weight for these though as well, since they are easier)

If I were you, I’d focus my time on finding an EC to fall in love with by the end of Junior year.

Assuming that you are doing that, self-study the AP that you’re most interested in.

It’s those interests, not those scores, that will get you into the colleges you’re interested in.
