Hey what's everybody taking for the 2nd semester? I have Ap World coming up.

Uhh my school’s classes run full year, except for AP Lang.
So…still AP Psych and AP Calc AB.

People like you who get to take 2 APs per school year are really lucky in my opinion. At least I think that’s how it works for you guys. In my school, we have ot take an AP class for the entire year :/

AP Lang was the only half-year AP, but next year I hear they’re making it full year.

Are you guys not on block schedule?

Same… Psych, Chem, Calc AB, Physics C Mechanics

I’m not :'(

cardman- that sucks lol. Block schedule is FTW. You only take 4 classes per semester, but they’re each 1.5 hours. And it’s awesome because the end of the first semester feels like the days leading up to summer break, because you take completely new classes in the spring semester. But I’m not sure how it would work if you take an AP class during the first semester (way before the AP exam)

I wish I had block schedule… But instead we take 8 classes a day throughout the year. It evens out I guess but I would rather have block schedule. It’s weird because a lot of schools around my area having block schedules but not mine…

@OP: I hope you realize that people who attend schools with block schedule are the very minority.

The only semester only classes at my school, besides a few non-academic electives, are economics and government. I’m taking AP Microeconomics this semester and will be taking Honors Government next semester.

My school’s on block schedule. 4 classes a semester and 8 per year. However, there is an exception, because AP classes take up 2 semesters, so basically we can have 8 regular classes or 4 APs a year. Unfortunately, this schedule doesn’t allow me to take all the APs I wanted. I hate block scheduling.

full year class = AP US History
Next semester (hopefully…) = AP Macroeconomics

We have full year classes.

I’m still going to be in AP Calc BC, AP Physics B and AP Government.

I’m traditional 7 classes a day, so same ones as now.

English Language
Statistics
European History
French

No block scheduling for meee

AP French
APES aka the devil’s class
AP Lang
APUSH

W00t

Our APs are full year. Therefore, I am still taking:

AP Lit
AP German
AP Stat
AP U.S. History
AP Physics C
AP Psych

My school was on block scheduling last year and switched to 7 periods a day for this year. It’s been the hardest transition ever. I used to go to bed at 10 PM every night last year. Now I usually go to bed at 2 AM, and it’s not uncommon for me to pull an all-nighter.

Anyways, I have:

AP Biology
AP European History
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus AB
AP English Lit

AP Lit, I’m on block schedule. I would’ve taken AP Psychology but I heard the teacher can’t teach and I want to pass all my exams. Also, I feel senioritis coming on.

The only new class I have next semester is Honors Organic chem, which I’m pretty excited for.

We’re on block. I agree that it is great. Although, fall AP’s require more last minute Princeton Review sessions.
I’ve got
AP Calc AB
AP World
AP Psych
AP Language
