What are Brown's statistics on accepting people off the waitlist?

I was waitlisted and am just curious, I know some schools don’t accept anyone off their waitlist but don’t know what Brown’s stats are.

Brown’s common data set says they accepted 86 students off the wait list but doesn’t say out of how many:

This student newspaper article says 148 class of 2022 students came off the waitlist-- waitlist admits can vary significantly from year to year. http://www.browndailyherald.com/2018/10/12/university-yield-rate-hits-time-high-61-percent/

I can’t find anything on Brown’s website stating whether they are need blind or need aware when going to the waitlist, but many schools, even those that are need blind, are in fact need aware when going to the waitlist—reason being is that the fin aid budget is often maxed out by then.

Waitlist numbers vary year to year. Some years 200 got in from the waitlist; other years less than a dozen. It is totally dependent on how many accepted students matriculate.

Brown gambled this year that it’s matriculation rate would be high, so accepted fewer students. If they predicted wrong, then they’ll be relying at the waitlist.

I did check schools CDS but did not notice this section about wait list. Thank you!
