What are good Business universities?

I want to major in finance and accounting. What are top business colleges for accounting ? I am international student. I know scholarships will be hard. But, scholarship matters for me. I need to get at least half of the fees as scholarship or may be grant.Any suggestions?

If you can, please post a bit more about yourself so we can identify colleges for you. However, needing Financial Aid/Scholarships will make it very difficult for you to choose colleges as your choices will be narrowed down a lot (a lot of colleges don’t offer financial aid/scholarships to international applicants). Rest assured though, there are still several top tier institutions that are need-blind, so if you have the stats, then you should not need to worry about finances.

Umm i am 16th in the nationwide matriculation exam. I am also in top 1% during my high school.I just took my first SATs on last Sat. I volunteer for NGOs in my country and teach deaf children. I have also participated in debates and ASEAN quiz contests.I am interested in UIUC but people say it is hard to get in. U go to business college? =] Thank you for your reply.

You sound like you are a top student at your school, but it is hard to compare the standards of your school with the standards of an American high school without the SAT. When those SAT results come out, we will be able to better compare you to where you stand. Do you take any AP or IB classes?

Also, what preferences do you have for colleges? Do you like big cities? Small cities? Large colleges? Small colleges?

UIUC is a fairly decent business school, but they are a public school and therefore offer very little international scholarships and no Financial Aid for international applicants (or so I think). Frankly, there are many other options out there that are better (especially if you’re an international student looking for Financial Aid).

What would be other options? =] I don’t think location and size matter for me.

University of Phoenix
Devry

If you are looking for Financial Aid/Scholarships, I would probably suggest you look at smaller liberal arts schools because they usually have more money than large public universities (for international students). Large public universities usually have to spend most of their money on in-state students but smaller colleges don’t have this restriction.
