<p>my cousin lives down in orlando, fl (i live in jax)... he is a high school senior... his core (or academic) GPA is a 2.7 and has an SAT of 1050... he applied to FSU for summer 2006 like two weeks ago... and has strong recommendations and extracurriculars...</p>

<p>i told him his chances were pretty good.</p>

<p>his GPA "is what it is", but can he do any better on his SAT? or try the ACT?</p>

<p>he said he took the ACT this past september and is giving the SAT one last try in october... he is arabic... but there was no where to put that on the application</p>

<p>There HAS to be a place for it, I believe it's required by law. Have sept. ACT scores come in yet?</p>
