UT Austin
MIT
Yale
Amherst
U Virginia
Georgetown
Vanderbilt
UPenn

a bit of a reach at MIT, Georgetown, and Yale. Rest are pretty much matches. UT is probably in.

USC - id say u have an amazing chance because u are a straight guy applying to a califronia schoool - u know the surfer types..
UT Austin - duh
MIT - jump off a cliff
Yale - definitely in - honelstly its not harvard
Amherst - nope
U Virginia - cavaliers, party party - hot chicks baby - yeah!
Georgetown - become president
Vanderbilt - there are reasons why u dont want to go there....reasonos....
UPenn - go with this kid i know - yalll will prob hoook up

hater how could u say georgetowns a reach when upenn and amherst aren't
shark i'd say that your gpa and sats put yale amherst MIT and upenn at reaches but the others are definitely possibilities

nobody wants to rate u because you suck ass in so many ways??// Is Snake13 feliks?

um. everyone who applies to "those schools" (you know which ones im talking about) have massive community service, and good grades. You are set for the others, but for the top schools, you are simply an "average" applicant.

You need a couple more SAT IIs for Yale...

Some needed information is not given here... was that the only SAT II u've taken? For APs, do u have all 3's except one 5 or all 5's except one 3?

USC-if this is southern cal not with ur rank, south carolina in
UT Austin-in
MIT-rank no chance
Yale- ranks killing u
Amherst-ranks killing u
U Virginia-even instate they frown upon top 9% applicants
Georgetown-rank too low
Vanderbilt-best chance of the rank too lows
UPenn-why is ur rank so low?

Im not trying to be mean, but realize that about 90% of each of their incoming classes r top 10%, unless u go to one of those places where the top 20% has a shot at ivies, id get more matches

well ive already gotten into USC(southern cal) and UT

Most of my APs were 4s with one 3 and one 5

yes that was my only SATII

any more input?

ok i missed the nationally recognized hs. wow if 170 gets into southern cal, u must go to one hell of a school, i probly shoulda known bc ur resume's decently accomplished and stuff. good luck

unless you took the ACT and submitted that score, you don't have enough SAT IIs for Yale. They require 3. And I think MIT and UPenn require more than one (don't remember how many). So b/c of the lack of scores, probably no at those schools (I've heard of exceptions being made, though) No one can accurately assess your chances other than that, though. Obviously all those schools are super-competitive, but you have a chance. Good luck!!!

rank = 160 / 722
^ YOUR RANK IS HORRIBLE.
ahhaahha

shark: If you really want us to evaluate your chances of being admitted to these schools, we need more detailed information. Please specify AP scores test by test, indicate major areas of interest such as intended major and post undergraduate plans and give us more of an impression regarding what made you select these schools. You have a significant imbalance in your SAT I scores so much of any chance prediction will vary by intended major. Also, a lot will depend upon the content of your application, especially the essays, intended major and response to why school X. MIT and Yale are long shots regardless of any other factor. UVa.and Amherst may well be affected by your geographical location with respect to out of state standards and geographical diversity needs. Your outstanding math scores should get your application noticed at Penn's business school, unfortunately its Wharton and the admissions standards are exceptionally high.
