I am currently a freshman at the Macaulay Honors Program and my home campus is Baruch College. For those who don't know Macaulay, it is a full scholarship CUNY honors program that provides students with a free macbook pro laptop, a $7500 opportunities fund that can be used towards study abroad and internship programs, a cultural passport that can be used for free admission to various museums and art galleries throughout the city, and various other perks. I chose this school being that it made the most sense, but I'm really not happy. My other options were the University of Michigan, Binghamton, University of Maryland Honors, and NYU liberal. I currently live in an apartment in Manhattan with another student attending Macaulay @ Baruch, but I really want a campus school in which I can get the full college experience.

In high school, I had a 94.13 entering GPA and a 2090 SAT (610 Reading, 690 Math, 790 Writing). My Sat II scores are 640 Molecular Bio, 670 Math 1, and 730 US History. In addition I took 7 honors and 7 AP courses. I received 4s on American and Calc AB, 3s on Micro Macro and Environmental, and 2s on Bio and Spanish Lang. My senior year scheduled featured 1 honors and 4 AP courses and my average was slightly over a 91. Also, I am an 11 season athlete (cross country, winter track, tennis), an officer of two community-service based clubs and member of Key Club and Deca (top 10 in a state category). Furthermore I’ve done plenty of community service, worked at summer camps and a doctor’s office, won numerous athletic awards, and was recently named the scholar athlete of the year in my high school.

My first semester here at Macaulay Baruch I am taking advanced english, honors intro business, honors micro econ, honors freshman seminar, an honors art seminar, and business law. I also write for the Macaulay newspaper, am a part of the Macaulay General Assembly, Macaulay Business Club, and a Macaulay community service club. Also, the GPA here is inflated (85 is a 3.5). I'm currently an undecided major, but I might end up going to something in the business field.

I previously applied to Emory (waitlisted) and Cornell (rejected) regular decision, but I really loved them when I visited. I am also applying to USC. Money is not a factor for when it comes to these three schools. What are my chances at Emory (Arts and Sciences), Cornell (ILR), and USC (letters, arts and sciences)?
