Hey everyone! I just wanted to know what my chances are in getting into UCLA. I've been really nervous! I am a transfer student. My major is religious studies (its not impacted). I have a 3.3 gpa. Ive been on assist.org everyday and there are no prereqs for my major. I have taken every religion class my school has to offer. Religion in America, World Religions, Philosophy of religion, Anthropology of religion, Intro to philosophy, Cultural Anthropology, Physical Anthropology and Ethics/Morality. I am IGETC certified. I have lots of extracurriculars. In my personal statement I discussed my time in Egypt during the revolution (2013). I honestly feel like my chances are 50/50. Please feel free to be honest in your opinions of my chances.

given that https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/Tr_Prof13.htm shows the average admit GPA is 3.7 your chances are… Well, probably not 50/50. Best of luck, though!

With a 3.3 it is going to be difficult for strong ECs and personal statements to lift you into the “Yes” stack. 50/50 is generous. Hopefully you applied elsewhere.
