What are my chances at cornell?

I was just wondering what you think my chances are at cornell. I applied Early Decision to the school of Engineering.

SAT I
Math - 790
Critical Reading - 730
Writing - 740

SAT II
Chem - 750
Math Level 1 - 760

My letters of reccomendation are good... one coming from a cornell alum. I'm not sure if that helps. My extra curriculars are pretty damn weak though.

I was inducted to National Honor Society and German Honor society junior year and still participate in them. I am on physics team and math team this year. I have been playing CYO/CYM basketball for about 8 years. I've taken almost all of the AP and Honors courses available including Computer Science Junior year which i got a 5 on. I worked one summer as a waiter, and the following 2 as a summer camp counselor which I intend to continue doing this year.

Also my class rank is 32/611 (about 5%) at a pretty competitive highschool. my unweighted GPA is 92.3

Do you have any EC's? Any awards or anything relating to math/physics/chemistry/engineering/computer science?

I'd give you a decent shot at it, your scores and grades are good (well above average cornell accepted), the alum helps, and ED at Cornell should boost your chances. Not too sure about the Engineering major, though.

60-70%+ If Engineering is just about as difficult to be accepted into as FAS

youll get in bro, you have such good SAT scores that they wont be able to refuse you. I mean the middle 50% range for cornell acceptees was like 1300-1470 or something around there (not sure, havent looked at it recently). You seem well above that mark. as for your ec's, I hope you just stress one or two with great importance (your math science etc.) with that in mind your probably a shoe in. best of luck
