Are you looking to be recruited?
If yes, has any once conacted you?
Have you made contact with the volleyball coach?

Nope...Dartmouth only has a club team..so what do you think my chances are?

Considering that you posted the same question on almost every ivy forum I will give an overall assessment.

GPA- on the low side (while you could get a wink on the SAT, the wink will not come when it comes down to GPA)

Does your school rank? If yes, where do you fall in the ranking?

ACT - low side consider retaking , try to get into the 30's

What do your SAT IIs look like?

What region of the country are you applying from? (North East region especially in NY, NJ, CT and MA, there will be many students who can knock you out of the box).

Should consider retaking SAT to get that CR into 700 range then you will be in better shape.

ranking is top 15%, i plan on retaking ACT and SAT...have not taken any SAT IIs, I live in Ohio...so got anything that might help me?

How large is your class? The top 15% is certainly means different things in a class of 100 vs. 800.

I would definitely recommend applying RD this year so you can not only have the opportunity to raise your test scores but also get fantastic grades so admssions officers can see that you're working harder than ever. Admissions officers want to see the best possible grades from you.

Any more questions, please feel free to pm me and I will answer them as best I can.

Dartmouth '08

Depending on whether you have a compelling story, I honestly think ur Stats are fine. Dartmouth really looks at the whole person and things like ur SAT score often aren't as big of a deal as people make it to be.

I would try and increase the SAT to offset the class rank. If you could get a 2100 it would do wonders for you.

I would suggest that you look for schools that have varsity volleyball teams and contact their coaches ASAP.
