What are my chances at Emerson/Ithaca?

Hi everyone!!! I'm a current high school junior and I've always dreamed of attending Emerson or Ithaca Colleges for acting. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out my chances as I enter junior year, so I know what I need to do to make these dreams come true. Thanks everyone! <3

Assuming you do well on your tests, you are definitely in Academically, but don't theater and acting majors often have to submit a sample and/or tryout?

You certainly have the grades. Emerson's performance arts programs are, from what I've heard, very much talent based, Ithaca too. (I'm applying at both, but not for PA. They're amazing.)

If you're applying for the program: be a good actor(ress?) and you'll be fine!
If you're applying for the school and you're not an awesome actor(ress?) then look for a non-performance major for your second choice, because you're in for most other things.

Have you visited Emerson?

Thanks Guys!
1) Actress (even though technically Actor is used for both genders). i'm a girl :)
2) I'm actually visiting both schools the weekend of November 7th! Yay!
3) I'm a pretty good actress, I'd say. And I'm meeting with an admissions director during my visits at both schools to see what exactly is needed for the audition for Acting :)

Any other comments would be greatly appreciated <3

Hah, I'm actually going to Ithaca that weekend, too. Emerson is AMAZING. I think the second you see their theater you're going to be like "whoa."
