I really need some sort of merit aid from Emerson. It's my dream school but I cannot go unless I get some sort of scholarship/acceptance to the Honors Program. I have also toured the school twice if that counts for anything and I like to think of myself as being the sort of student Emerson wants. I'm artsy and have always been involved in both music and theater. I'm not positive but it seems that at Emerson that seems to count for more than sports.

GPA: 4.6 (My school's scale is sort of odd. It's a 5.1 I think.)
SAT: 1990 (CR: 680, Math: 610, Writing: 700 (unfortunately the section that I guess doesn't matter?))
Top 10% of the class (Not sure of my ranking b/c wasn't told.. probably in top 10 of my class though)
AP Scores: AP Lang: 5, APUSH: 4 (To be clear also, no other AP classes were available to me as a junior.)

As a senior, I am taking:
Honors Pre-Calculus
AP Euro
A select (auditioned) choir class
AP Psychology
AP Literature
AP Computer Science

So far, I have straight A's in all of my courses. Throughout highschool, my only non-A was in APUSH junior year (I earned a B.. I had another B in Honors Latin IV but it was an A- on my final report card).

Activities:
Drama Club ( years 9-12, principal and supporting roles (leads junior and senior year), was a student director for the spring show my junior year)
Key Club (years 9-12, vice president 11-12)
National Honors Society (11-12, we can only be accepted as juniors at my school and I am a tutoring coordinator)
Student Council (10-12, class representative)
Women's Choir/A Capella Group (9-12)
Choir (including the select (auditioned) choir I mentioned, this is just a class at my school but I've stuck with it all four years and it includes A LOT of out-of-school things)
Private Voice Lessons (7-12)
Different community theater productions regularly
Fiction Club (9-12)
School Newspaper (11-12)
Part-Time Job (12)

There are some other things not mentioned here but this is really the bulk of it.

I also feel good about my essays as well as my writing supplements. But, still.
Also, to risk sounding obnoxious, I am aware I probably have a pretty solid chance at getting into Emerson. But, it's truly the Honors Program I'm worried about.
