Girl Scout Gold Award Description:
The goal of my Gold Award was to 1) bring music education to those in underserved communities and populations in the Raleigh area through biweekly lessons through the Salvation Army and 2) create a financial organization for the newly created LSA instrumental program. The first part entails creating lesson plans, teaching, organizing with community center administrators, bringing in other music students and music professionals. Through this project I was able to attend an invite-only leadership luncheon to talk, network and brainstorm with other women leaders in my community and other girls working on their Gold Award.

- USAT TaeKwonDo Finalist
