What are my chances at getting into a good law school

I've been very unhappy not knowing what I want to do until lately, when I thought long and hard about my future. I currently hold a 2.67 GPA with 42 credit hours (39 passed). I failed one class that brought me down a lot because of how many credits it was. Anyways now I'm thinking about becoming a lawyer, but I'm not sure yet because I don't know if there is enough time to raise my GPA significantly enough to get into a very good law school that would almost ensure myself a job out of college. My question is what are my chances of getting into a very good law school (not talking about Ivy League) with a 3.0 GPA?

Note: I'm currently in pre-dentistry in my undergrad. I would be changing from that to something else.

From what I’ve read elsewhere, it would be very difficult to get into a good law school with a 3.0, even if you did very well on the LSATs. Also I would do some research into the controversy surrounding job placement for recent law school grads; unfortunately even getting into a T14 isn’t going to ensure a job straight out of college.

Sorry to be such a downer :/
