<p>Hello I am senior applying early decision to Gettysburg College. My gpa is 2.8 with all honors classes. The requirements for credits in English math science and history, all are 3 at Gettysburg. I will graduate with science-7 math-6 English-4 history-5. All classes are honors. My act was a 25. I also have already been recruited for baseball and have the help of the coach through admissions, what are my chances ?</p>
<p>If the coach has a LOT of pull, your chances are pretty good if you are his top recruit. If not, I would say your chances are not very good.</p>
<p>In case you haven’t figured it out yet… the college admissions process is not one of clear cut lines. There are some guidelines that people like to use to try and guess what a college admissions office will do with their application. I would tell you that just given your academic record Gettysburg would not be a high percentage chance for you. But, given your athletic talents, I have seen Gettysburg take students who wouldn’t have been admitted without their athletic abilities. The normal numbers don’t matter if you have the strong backing of the athletic department. Best of luck.</p>
