I like your transcript, keep it up, but you need a lot more ECs and you need to really get involved in each one (Quality not quantity). I dont know, do have more ECs that you didnt list? Another comment, you need a lot more volunteer hours. Most people that i know who got accepted had 1000+ volunteer hours.

standardized test scores arent the deciding factor at JHU, but I would be sure to bring them up if you can...

You've taken an excellent courseload..

what is your class rank?

awe man... are you serious about 1000+ hours? or are you just exagerrating a little.

definite exaggeration

lol

no i wouldnt say exaggeration... ive volunteered all of my summers plus many during the school years... its possible

anyways on topic, id have to agree with quality and not quantity.. stick with something you enjoy and can become good at.

I'm not saying it's never been done, but there is absolutely no way 1000 hours of volunteering is common or necessary for admission.

I know it's not required or common to have 1000+ hours but it can be done. My friends are the type who like to go above and beyond the other candidates . I've been volunteering at a medical clinic the whole summer 8 hours a day, probably 600 hours so far.
