<p>I have a 3.6-ish GPA, 2110 SAT score. Significant stuff I've done include publishing a scientific paper, organizing a charity walk with a few friends that raised a LOT of money, winning a regional vocab bee three years in a row, taking lead roles in plays, and having 300+ hours of community service.</p>
<p>Other random stuff include the clubs I've been in, and volunteering stuff I've done.</p>

<p>Stats were nearly identical to mine in HS (3.7, 2110). ECs are more proactive than mine. I had a few officer positions and independent interests, but I was really passionate about them. For the essay, write about something you're extremely motivated about, tying in your ECs. Be genuine, don't BS. Say why it's important to YOU, not to the rest of the world. Overall, I'd say you're a match for NYU.</p>
