Picking people who we think should get into NYu is really difficult because it is such a popular school and you dont know what they expect. From your stats, sorry to say it, but you look like the normal, need i say like an "average" applicant. If i were you, i would try to play up some part of you on your essays to enhance your chance.
Since nyu is so popular, they tend to look at SATs a lot more than other schools. Your scores are little low, so that puts you at a disadvantage.
Your GPA is great but with NYU, you never know whether they will look at scores or GPA.
The CAS at NYU is one of the most popular schools arounf the US, so you will be in competition with many competitive candidates. The difficulty of courses will also influence whether you get accepted or not.
I think that you will get deferred. Nyu is probably a good reach. Best of luck and i hope i didnt seem like a jerk.

(PS-I am also applying to NYu so i may be bias in my intent. Of course i would like to get in over other applicants, but i mayb some part of me wants others to not get in so i will. )
