AP's : took AP physics B and ap US Hist junior year: got 4 on physics and 3 on us history
currently taking AP Biology and AP Calculus BC </p>

<p>Factors to consider: GPA skyrocketed from a 92 in soph yr to a 100.76 junior year (report card), have done better in AP classes than in regular classes. received 100 in AP physics :)</p>

<p>Recommendations: awesome!! both my teachers said I was one of their best students of all time
essay: very unique with an interesting story</p>

<p>yes I would agree with the above posters. really only the SAT score that’s a bit of a drag.</p>

<p>Pretty much agree with the others. SAT is a little low. Though so is mine. :)</p>

<p>Overall good chances, though. Though Columbia might be difficult to pull off, if you have the first-gen college student thing going for you, I have to imagine that would help a lot. Good luck!</p>
