I completed two years of my high school in India, and 2 in the United States, which makes me an international applicant
I began high school in the U.S in my 11th grade
9th - 8.8/10 CGPA (85%)
10th - 10 CGPA (95%)
11th - 3.6667 out of 4 (roughly 91%)
SAT Score -
1390 - (740 in Math, 650 in Reading)
I intend on applying for a degree in Management (Finance/International Business/ Information Technology)
Do you think I would stand a chance amidst the extremely competitive pool of applicants ?? :-//
UBC and Toronto are both very large universities, which opens up a lot of available spaces for freshmen. They won’t care about the 9th grade, which removes your weakest year of high school.
Management is probably a competitive major. As such I would have a couple of other schools as safeties, but I think that it is well worth an application to both UBC and Toronto.
@mnjkr U of T doesn’t have a management or international business or IT program. They do have commerce and financial mathematics and computer science. You can only apply to one though. Calculus is required for all of those. You will require 2 SAT subject tests or 2 AP scores in different subjects.
