Hi All
I was wonder what my chances were for being admitted to any University of California. I currently am a student attending a JC. I applied for fall 2008. My standing GPA is 3.1-3.4. I work 40hrs a week, a minority, and wrote a very well revised essay (Check prob. 20 times). I also have done some volunteer work. The only thing is when I got out of High School I was not prepared for college really. I attended a CSU for one semester and recieved 2 C's that put me on Academic Probation because I was misguided. I got out of there and started attending a JC, were my grade have been pretty good. I applied to UCLA, UCI, UCSD, UCSB, UCR, UCD, and UCM; which one of these do I have a chance for with a major like Political Science and a Minor in History? Thanks to all who reply!!!

your GPA is probably too low for UCLA.
UCSD & UCSB: i think you have about a maximum 50% shot at it.
UCI, UCR, UCD, UCM should accept you (70%+ sure)

Oh yea I was also a part of UCLA Site 2006 program and currently am apart of the Honors Program on campus (my first semester as a honors student)...so does this help my chances in any way
